Sacerdote católico, trabajó en Temuco. Detenido el 13 de septiembre de 1973, por Carabineros de Lautaro, lo fusilaron la noche del 17de septiembre del mismo año, en la víspera de su cumpleaños. No murió. Flotó en un canal y pudo sobrevivir. Estuvo 4 años en Argentina, luego volvió a Chile y siguió trabajando con el pueblo mapuche, razón por la cual había sido detenido y “fusilado”. Posteriormente se secularizó.
